A/uDeMuDi will be a uclibc based version. It will be build with shared knowledges of the emdebian and i386-uclibc teams. Development has been started on sarge, but with the help of pbuilder, all debian releases will be supported.

:: What

A/DeMuDi is a Custom Debian Distribution, a CDD focused on multimedia applications.

A/DeMuDi is not separate from Debian, it is simply a customised way to distribute it. Read more on the A/DeMuDi concept here.

Currently the A/DeMuDi project mainly deals with sound and music software, but it will eventually include state of the art video tools too.

To install A/DeMuDi on the hard disk of your computer please read the CD-ROM installation page.

If you have already a running Debian system please refer to the APT setup page.

:: Why

A/DeMuDi is a part of the AGNULA project, whose goal (amongst others) is to help increase awareness of Free Softwares ideals and scope, with specific attention paid to audio/video applications and content distribution.

:: Who

The project is definitely community oriented and feedback is always welcome and taken into account. The project is constantly evolving with many exciting opportunities to get involved. Contrary to some strange rumours you may hear on the net, A/DeMuDi is alive, well and totally kicking!
